Sheldon P. Berger,
President & CEO
Mr. Berger is the President and CEO of the corporate
parent, as well as the President, CEO and sole Director of the subsidiary
corporations.
Previously, while a practicing lawyer, Mr. Berger was a
Director and Executive Vice President of the corporate parent. His tenure
as an officer and director began in 1987.
Mr. Berger, through his professional corporation,
continues to be a partner of Resch Polster & Berger LLP, where he
has been a founding member since 1980. Mr. Berger received his
undergraduate education from the University of Pittsburgh in 1971, and his
Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh in 1974, where he earned the
distinction of Order of the Coif. Mr. Berger is a member of the Beverly
Hills, Los Angeles County (Real Property Section) and American Bar
Associations (Real Property Section; Financing Subcommittee); he has been
admitted to and a member of the State Bar of California since 1974. He has
been a licensed real estate broker in the State of California since 1977.
Mr. Berger was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania in 1949.
Since 1974, Mr. Berger has practiced law, specializing in
real estate, including acquisitions, sales, private placement and
syndication, construction transactions, joint ventures, financing, leasing
and subdivision. He has expertise with respect to development, financing,
leasing, operation, acquisition and disposition of mobile home parks, office
buildings, apartment complexes, subsidized housing and shopping centers. In
addition, Mr. Berger has represented a number of other business enterprises
in their organization and general corporate matters, including acquisitions,
sales and mergers.
