Kevin Wiser
Chief Operating Officer
Kevin Wiser brings to InterCoastal over 30 years' experience in the hospitality and multifamily housing industry, with an emphasis on the development, construction, and operation of high-end health resorts and spas as well as conventional full-service hotels and health clubs.
Mr. Wiser was the president and CEO of the Pritikin Longevity Centers and Spas from 1978 to 2002, during which time he developed and operated three full-service resort hotel-and-spas in Santa Monica, California, Aventura, Florida, and Downingtown, Pennsylvania. The properties ranged in size from 120 to 170 rooms, each with complete restaurant, spa, educational, and healthcare facilities. In 1998, the Santa Monica Center was moved into the Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel, and Mr. Wiser consulted on the design and construction of the now-world class spa operated inside the Loews hotel.
During this same time period, Mr. Wiser developed, constructed, and operated eleven upscale health and fitness centers located in Southern California and Texas, delivering fitness, spa, and medical services to their members.
Over the past several years, Mr. Wiser has overseen and refined the operations of the InterCoastal Group’s extensive multifamily housing portfolio, while concurrently launching the company’s Hospitality Division.
Mr. Wiser is a graduate of the University of California at Davis, and a long-standing member of the Young Presidents Organization.
